Job Description |
Technical Support Internship - support POS systems and other technology to the Hospitality sector! Front of House POS offers fully customizable, technology-based solutions for the Hospitality industry. This includes POS systems, liquor tracking systems and camera security systems. You will get involved in programming, the installation of hardware and software at client sites, wiring, troubleshooting, etc. You will be taught the system basics in-house. You will also delve in networking and will need to be familiar with designating and assigning IP addresses. Due to the technical aspects of the job, computer science majors are preferred. In addition, you will be sorting out mailing lists, organizing marketing materials and doing basic filing. Furthermore if you are interested, you may also get involved in the distribution of our systems which will earn you sales commission. The work schedule is flexible so feel free apply and we can work something out. You will work on average 20 hours/week. The pay is hourly minimum wage plus commission if you are interested in doing sales. |

Qualifications |
Knowledge in use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Comfortable troubleshooting technical problems – even if it’s on your home PC. Good communication skills.
Fast learner and self motivated. Computer Science major or Informations Systems major and/or Sales related major. |
