Ruby on Rails Developer for a Fortune 100 Publishing Firm! Develop community and user-generated content applications for a website in the health and wellness space. Work in Agile/XP environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, pair programming, short release schedule, SCRUM). Meet with customers to understand business needs. Qualifications |
Minimum 1 year of Ruby on Rails experience required. 3 years of general web development required. Track record of delivering database backend web applications.
Experience in writing unit tests for both controllers and models in either RSpec or TestUnit. Experience implementing RESTful solutions in Rails 2.0.
Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Prototype a plus. Java experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented and organized. |
