Job Description |
The Senior Desktop Support Engineer is hands-on management position responsible for delivering technology support services to users of company wide internal and external client computer systems. Install, integrate, configure and optimize standard and custom applications for Firm and Firm's clients PC's. Oversee and manage two support technicians. Resolve hardware and software issues. Configure and deploy client communication devices including Blackberries, mobile phones, etc.
Remote connectivity support (VPN, Citrix).
Assist in root cause analysis, diagnostics and systems monitoring.
Troubleshoot and maintain printers and copiers. Provide network access, email, and voicemail to new employees as needed. Competitive compensation and

Qualifications |
5 years experience in an IT support or technical environment with significant PC and client/server platform experience. MCP or MCSE. A+ Certification or equivalent experience. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft XP professional and Microsoft Office 2003.
Microsoft Networking experience including Active Directory and Windows 2000/XP.
Proficient with Norton Ghost. Experience with Blackberries and office phone systems. Strong software and hardware troubleshooting skills including in the integration of applications. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Bachelor's Degree required. Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering Degree preferred. |
